Hi all!  First time posting to this community. I'm looking for some help with a print I bought today at a thrift store for $6.  It's an old paper poster, framed.  It says "A. Methfessel" on it (though it's part of the print, not an actual signature).  There is some slight water damage to it.

The image was on the cover of Sunset magazine in 1904 ( http://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/2002719245/ ).  I can find some reproductions for sale, but no info on how much an original might be worth.  Also, unless it was an oversized magazine, it seems too big to be a magazine cover (about 1.5'X1.5').  I really love the image, so even if it's not worth anything I'll keep it, but I'm thinking it might actually have some worth since I can't find other originals like it anywhere.  Help?

Sorry, I can't help at all. I just wanted to congratulate you on your find! Love the frame with the print.
